Fundraising update

We just got in our most recent numbers from 2Seeds corporate and our funding has grown in leaps and bounds. In the last month we’ve doubled the amount of money raised and we are well on our way to our $16,000 goal.

The total amount we have raised so far is:$9,170

Look at how big our plant has grown! (and in just a few months, we will have real plants growing in our garden to match our digital one)

Just a few stats about our fundraising: we have received donations from 71 individuals and businesses. The average donation amount has been $200. The maximum and minimum amounts are $3000 and $5 (really, no donation is too small.) We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us and to all of you for rooting for us and our project.

We want to take the time to send a special thank you to our biggest donors, without whom we would not have been able to afford to get to Tanzania and begin settling into our house. These top investors are:

Beatrice Siegel
Heather Sossong
Marti Hatcher
Cass Crain and Alpine Ranch
Henry Sossong
David Rodriguez and Rory Solomon
Connie Sossong

We really do appreciate all of the encouragement, love, and support we’ve gotten from you all. It means the world to us to know that, even though we may be living in a teeny village without electricity and internet, there are people back home thinking about us and cheering us on (but hearing it is even more wonderful- so call us and write to us!)
