Dar Es Salaam

Dar. It’s a name that conjures up images of luxury and excess. The mouth begins to salivate, the heart to palpitate, and the poor soul unfortunate enough to live far from its bound to groan at the merest hint of Dar. To us village people, our friends who live in the city are so cosmopolitan. They take taxis, eat ice cream, and live in a tall building. With many floors. It’s a constant joke that the Dar team actually just spends all their time divided between the beach and really nice restaurants.
